At the pinnacle of the independent hip-hop movement, Oakland’s The Grouch and Los Angeles’ Eligh
formed the duo G&E. Hailing from the Living Legends collective, the pair first forged a brotherhood
that led to music. “The first day I met this guy, he wanted to get in the studio and create; I had some
equipment. We ended up back in my basement sampling vinyl and recording songs. I don’t do that
with just anybody,” recalls The Grouch, who has worked with legions of artists as an MC and
producer.


Fast forward many years later, The Grouch & Eligh have cemented themselves as salient artists who
have maintained legions of loyal fans across the globe while consistently releasing music that stays
true to their roots, yet remains relevant in today’s ever-evolving landscape. The duo have recorded
three official albums together; “G&E Music Vol. 1 & 2”, “No More Greener Grasses”, and “Say G&E!”.
Outside of their collaborative efforts, the two are established solo producers and MC’s who have
toured the globe and shared the stage with world-class artists. After hundreds of songs carefully
crafted together, The Grouch summates, “Eligh and I love to record music together. For the most part,
we see eye to eye in and out of the studio”.

Black Flag “My War”

Black Flag is an American band formed in 1976 in Hermosa Beach, California, by guitarist, primary songwriter, and sole continuous member Greg Ginn. Their discography includes seven studio albums and two live albums. The band has released all of their material on Ginn’s independent label, SST Records beginning with 1981’s Damaged. Vocalist Mike Vallely, first sang with the band as a guest vocalist in 2003, before becoming the band’s fifth vocalist in 2014.

Reggae rock singer-songwriter Kyle Smith, from Ventura, California, offers his blend of Southern California style reggae with Ska, Punk Rock, & Hip Hop that is catchy, truthful, and humorous. Kyle’s roots come from years of his troubled youth and addiction while living in Long Beach, CA. His songs explain his life as a young addict with songs like “Dope Fiend” and “Jaded” all the while keeping an uplifting spirit and tempo. Kyle is a warrior, and a beacon of light whose goal in life is to give hope and spread positive vibes with his music. His talent is raw, natural, and unforced. Whether solo with his guitar, or backed with a band, Kyle stands tall and proud. With a flash of his smile he immediately warms up the room and invites you into his world.

On 9/24/2021, his first full length album “Lost Cause” was released on iTunes, Amazon, Google Play, and all other major digital outlets and charted at #2 Reggae Album. Kyle has been touring nationally for years and has recently been on the festival circuit for California Roots Festival, Reggae Rise Up Festival (Florida & Vegas), Mammoth Reggae Festival, and being added to more every month. Kyle has also been featured on internet and radio stations  all over the country including, 92.9 KJEE, 91.9 KCSB, Surf Roots Radio, and more.

As for the future, Top 40 domination is inevitable. Kyle’s music is going to spark and inspire a new generation of reggae rock enthusiasts.

TOKEN – RENO

Impassioned and reflective rapper Token earned his stripes at a young age, writing his first songs at ten and building an audience through his YouTube page where, at only 17, his track “No Sucka MC’s” went viral and earned him national recognition on blogs and in the rap community. The Massachusetts native went on to self-issue the albums Eraser Shavings and Between Somewhere, and landed a distribution deal with major-label Atlantic, continuing his artistic progression with the 2022 release Pink Is Better, his third full-length.

Growing up north of Boston in Marblehead, Ben Goldberg began rapping under the name Token, producing tracks in a confident rapid-fire style reminiscent of Eminem. He made his breakthrough in 2015 with “No Sucka MC’s” — the official video quickly amassed views in the millions — and expanded his audience with a performance on hip-hop DJ Sway Calloway‘s Sway in the Morning SiriusXM show. Token’s debut album, Eraser Shavings, arrived in 2016, followed by a tour of France and an appearance at the Chorus Festival. By 2017, singles like “Doozy” and “Exception” were amassing millions of streams, and Token set out on a major tour of the U.S. Between Somewhere followed in 2018; unlike the debut, which contained no guest appearances, it featured verses from the likes of Tech N9ne, Bas, and IDK. Token scattered a handful of singles over the next couple years, and put together the Atlantic-distributed Pink Is Better, which landed in 2022.
